美国数学学会（American Mathematical Society，简称AMS）创建于1888年，多年来一直致力于促进全球数学研究的发展及其应用。
MathSciNet收录全世界250多家专业出版社的2000余种期刊、数十万种图书及会议文献的索引，详细标引了每篇文章的机构、分类，并对作者署名做消歧，同时构建了数学领域较权威的引文数据库。
截止2024年12月，MathSciNet收录文献超过440万条，评论全文超百万篇，索引超122万名学者。除数学之外，MathSciNet还收录经济、管理、工程及计算机等领域的顶尖期刊，并做选评。AMS MathSciNet已成为检索全球数学及相关学科文献的重要工具。

为方便读者假期在校外使用AMS MathSciNet，AMS提供了校外使用（漫游）服务，读者可在自己的设备（PC、笔记本电脑、平板、手机等设备）中启用MathSciNet的漫游服务（Remote Access），启用后，可在校内外使用90天，步骤如下：
1)、在校园网内，点击下方链接：
https://www.ams.org/pairing/pair_my_device.html
2)、按页面提示（下图）点击：Yes, Continue、Accept
如页面错乱，出现Sign in，请下拉页面到底部，点击Yes, Continue、Accept
3)、完成匹配之后，访问地址仍为：https://mathscinet.ams.org
注意事项：
a)漫游匹配必须在校园网内，不可在校外通过VPN登录后漫游。
b)执行漫游匹配的浏览器与使用数据库浏览器须一致，如漫游时用Chrome，使用数据库也只能使用Chrome。
c)清除浏览器Cookie数据会丢失漫游权限，需要重新漫游匹配。
